Hull Trinity Farmers’ Market
Branding
The Challenge
Create a logo and accompanying brand guidelines for Hull Trinity Farmers Market, a new event being organised by Hull Bid. Roll this out across promotional material to advertise the event and draw visitors to the farmers’ markets planned to be held throughout the upcoming year.

Ideation & Solution
The focus of the market was for local farmers, growers and food artisans to sell their products directly to customers. I wanted the brand to have an organic, crafted feel harmonising with the businesses that customers could expect to find at the market.
Much of the initial ideation was created by hand and developed digitally in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I drew a number of illustrations of local monuments and Hull Trinity with the intention of using these on print material.
A colour scheme that feels inherently market-like, with striped banners tying in traditional marketstalls. Hand crafted textures and illustrations sit alongside torn brown paper with the tagline ‘locally grown, locally made’. Branding was rolled out across leaflets distributed locally, social media and pull up banners which were located in high traffic areas such as Hull train station.
